Nature Ed-Ventures

Throughout the year, Nature Ed-Ventures provides programs for students K-8. Each program is designed to support NYS standards and uses individual student discovery for investigation.

Programs are by advance registration only. School programs consist of:
  • Classroom presentations
  • Evening family events
  • Residential programs at Camp Allegany, Allegany State Park
  • Day programs at Camp Allegany or other site close to your school

Each program lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Fee is $75 per program.

The following day-long programs will be offered at Camp Allegany, Allegany State Park. Please call for program description, date availability and times.

  • March - The History, Science and Technology of Maple Sugaring - grades 3 and up
  • May – Habitat Explorations – grades 4 & 5
  • October – Native American Studies & Forest Management – grades 4 – 6

Fee is $10.00 per student with no charge for teachers and two chaperones. Additional adults are $5 per person.
